Walking along the beach and its surroundings in Newcastle is the perfect way to spend an afternoon.
My sister and i regularly (though not regularly enough) spend time at the beach with our puppy Thomas. It is always perfect!

Next week I start my first day of work experience (internship) at Australian Label Romance Was Born.


I am so excited to learn from the creative souls of Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales. It is going to be a fabulous journey I am sure! Mixed in with all the excitement are the nerves, the anxious feelings of starting a new adventure since finishing university!

Today I received the fantastic news that I would be volunteering at Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 and I couldn't be more excited!

This trip to Melbourne will only be my second to the glorious city of fashion and I can hardly wait.
I applied for the position last year in December and forgot all about doing it until I received an email last week confirming that I had been pre-selected pending a phone interview.

I had my phone interview yesterday morning and received the great news today that I had been selected out of 1,200 applicants!

This year is turning out to be super!
